Michelin and GSE: a longstanding collaboration
		After building several projects for Michelin in Spain, Italy, Poland and France, GSE is now undertaking the construction of a new platform in Rouvignies, near Valenciennes, France, for Michelin. GSE and Michelin – an active partnership Collaboration between GSE and Michelin got underway in 1996 and has continued throughout several countries in Europe. The GSE-Michelin relationship is a good illustration of GSE’s strategy of working with its clients in their projects for expansion in France and abroad. GSE clients thus work with GSE-trained professionals in every country in which they build. GSE provides in-depth experience for the design and construction of warehouses dedicated to tire storage, covering every aspect from fire safety, personal safety, fire stability and other issues. The uncertainties inherent in every complex real estate project are also reduced with the GSE method: a single, guaranteed cost and delivery contract, and a single contact person – the sales engineer, responsible for project achievement.    The Rouvignies logistics platform GSE is currently building this 40,000-m² logistics platform. Construction got underway in January 2007 and will be completed in October. GSE’s mission includes all preliminary design work and construction of the warehouse. GSE also participated in the property search.

		The Michelin group has assigned GSE with the responsibility for several projects throughout Europe. ITALY Construction of 2 logistics centres for a total of nearly 50,000m² in northern Italy. POLAND 2005: construction of a 55,000-m² logistics platform. 2006: construction of a 28,000-m² platform. FRANCE 2003: GSE built the factory outlet in Cholet (49), a surface area of 30,000 m². 2006: construction of a 32,000-m² platform in Poitiers (86).

		Since the creation of the branch office in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, GSE has already delivered over 600,000 m² of professional buildings. Here are a few significant examples: Auchan: construction of several logistics platforms in the towns of Lesquin and Lomme. Castorama: construction of several extensions for the headquarters in Templemars and a logistics platform in Fretin. Coca-Cola: construction of a logistics platform in Dunkerque. Columbia Sportswear: construction of their northern European logistics platform in Cambrai, and an extension. Gazeley: construction of two logistics platforms in Onnaing and Arras. ProLogis: construction of three logistics platforms in Lesquin and Seclin.
