OPTIMA in few words...

OPTIMA designed by GSE

What more does OPTIMA add as compared to a traditional design, while providing the same functionalities?

in brief...
  • The OPTIMA project requires slightly less site area (- 19%): thereby requiring less material and generating lower operational costs.

  • The architectural vision of the project remains strong whilst the building is reduced
in height, it further integrates into its setting. Its modular approach adapts more efficiently to the warehouse occupier’s needs.

  • Environmentally-friendly materials.

  • Wood provides a warm atmosphere internally.

  • Focused on clean, renewable energy sources. In addition to the smaller size and reduced energy consumption, the warehouse uses solar panels for electricity production, solar water heaters for domestic hot water and a wood-fired furnace for heating.

  • OPTIMA is the only solution to offer 10 key innovations in the same building:

1- building grid,

2- building height,

3- wood-concrete structures,

4- dock shelters,

5- technical garden,

6- rainwater management,

7- clean energy sources,

8- Eco-Light,

9- jointless floor,

10- the “Race” construction process.

  •  OPTIMA means:

15 % savings on investment
and 20 % savings on operating costs
.

OPTIMA designed by GSE,
winner of Logistics Innovation Awards in France and in Italy

In 2006, at SITL Europe in Paris, the international exhibition for Transport and Logistics, and at SITL Italia in Verona, GSE won the prestigious Logistic Innovation Award for OPTIMA, the innovating concept for optimising logistic buildings.
